Powerhouse Parramatta

Powerhouse Parramatta

Powerhouse Parramatta represents the most significant investment in cultural infrastructure in New South Wales since the Sydney Opera House. It is the first time a NSW cultural institution of this scale has been established in Western Sydney—Australia’s fourth-largest economy and one of its fastest-growing and most culturally diverse regions.

As the flagship museum of the Museum of Applied Arts and Sciences, Powerhouse Parramatta spans 30,000 square metres, including 18,000 square metres of exhibition and public spaces. Once complete, it will be the largest museum in New South Wales.
