Sunshine Coast University Hospital has been awarded the prestigious Gabriel Poole Award for Building of the Year at the 2017 Queensland Regional Architecture Awards.
The new $1.8 billion tertiary teaching hospital at Kawana was designed by Architectus Brisbane in association with Rice Daubney Architects and built by Leandlease.
The world-class facility will service the rapidly expanding Sunshine Coast region, as the hub in an integrated network of accessible healthcare.
During construction, Waco Kwikform provided full height scaffold to all elevations, including engineering, supply and installation.
